This is the fourth message in this series called The Potter. In life, we might find ourselves answering to the labels which the enemy call us by but God never calls us by our past.  He calls us beloved and chosen not by our guilt, shame, addiction, or compulsive behaviors.

This is the third message in this series called The Potter. In life, it may seem like we are in a spiritual desert and the pain is unbearable. This moment in life is like clay that did not remain moist, and it becomes dry to the point of being useless. The potter's hands can apply water to prevent this just like the Holy Spirit can apply Living Water to our lives to prevent a spiritual desert from consuming us.

This is the second message in this series called The Potter. We need to remember that in our brokenness, God is not finished with us. We must go back to the potter's wheel and be remolded. Our brokenness can be made beautiful again!

Do we treat Jesus like Motel 6?

Looking at John 8:12-20, Jesus is the light of the world.  If you remember the commercial for Motel 6, it say "we'll leave the light on for ya" but do we just run to Jesus every once in a while if we need him and treat him like Motel 6 (expecting him to be there on our terms) or do we live like we need him everyday?

Isaiah 40 God wants to give us rest

We have an image of Jesus sitting on the mountainside with the wind blowing and it is like a beautiful late summer afternoon in our minds.  Even in our darkest times, Jesus wants to give us rest from our troubles and stress.

Keep On Keeping On Like Paul

In Philippians 3, Paul is encouraging us to keep on striving to move forward in our faith journey.  I am so thankful we serve a God of second chances.
